About

I am a licensed and LEED accredited Architect with over two decades of project management experience. I’ve worked on various Single-family, Multi-family, and Mixed-use Residential projects, as well as Commercial projects from master planning and concept design and all the way through the final walk through and compliance. My experience as an architect gives me the ability to creatively problem solve and design an environment that is tailored to each individual; their needs, their preferences, and their desires.  Visualizing projects 3-dimensionally allows me to identify potential issues, design and direct solutions, and ensure that these solutions can be built. If it can be drawn, I will figure out how to ensure that it can be built, or reshape it until it can.

I care about the work that I do and enjoy working collaboratively with owners, project stakeholders, the project team, and contractors to identify and implement solutions. My experience has granted me the opportunity to be a mentor to other team members and a person who takes the lead on improving operational efficiencies.

Architecture is about creation. We have the ability to hear to a client’s challenges and desires, and create solutions that address these things 3-dimensionally. I will sometimes look up to the sky when a new building starts construction and look to that space where the building will be. I am amazed that I am able to take part in what is about to become and be part of a space that will affect the lives of those who will live, work, or play in that space for years to come.

When not practicing architecture, I enjoy travel, music, riding my motorcycle, cooking, homebrewing, and spending time with my two dogs.
